Jershon, Inc. is a privately held Corporation. It was
formed in the spring of 1990. The Corporation hold the patents for the automatic ladder levelers know as Ladder Magic and LEVEL-EZE. Jershon, Inc. both manufactures and markets LEVEL-EZE ladder
levelers.
The LEVEL-EZE leveler has several substantial advantages over its predecessor
Ladder Magic. It is lighter, less expensive, more easily installed, and more
extensively tested. Currently there are numerous levelers on the market, however,
there are no other levelers which are automatic leveling and locking. There
are no other levelers, manual or automatic, which pass all ANSI ladder standards
including the cantilever tests. LEVEL-EZE is privately labeled for R. D. Werner
under the brand name of Level Master. LEVEL-EZE is designed for the commercial
end user. It will not affect the duty rating of the ladder and thus can be used on all ladders
including type I-AA. In today's safety oriented business world, where the high
cost of liability is now a factor, ladder safety is a prime concern. This affects
both small companies and the giants in industry.
There are 93,000 people hurt each year on ladders and 21,000 construction accidents
each year in the U.S. involve ladders. Half of the victims lose time and money.
